The Da Vinci code is a novel written by Dan Brown, published in 2003. Dan Brown was born in Exeter, New Hampshire on the 2nd of june 1964.

During the holidays, I read the Da Vinci Code.

Jacques Saunière, the curator of the Louvre was found dead. He left behind a coded message: "P.S. Find Robert Langdon", it was for Sophie Neveu, a French criminologist and at the same time, Saunière's granddaughter. He asked her to find Robert Langdon, a symbologist, to help her solve a mystery... After finding the message Saunière left before he died, the police think that Langdon is the murderer. Langdon decides to help Neveu, and in return, she will help him escape from the police, and from a group of extremist Christians. You will ask yourself; why would a group of extremist Christians chase Langdon down? Sophie, and Robert uncover mindblowing facts, throughout Leonardo Da Vinci's paintings. One of those facts could change everything about Christianity...Jacques Saunière trusts his granddaughter, and Langdon to solve the case, and uncover the secret, because if they don't, it will be lost. Forever.

The author of The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown, also known as Daniel Brown has received many awards. Among those awards, Dan Brown received the Book Sense Award for the Da Vinci Code in 2003. He received another award, which was the Goodreads Choice award in 2013.

The Da Vinci Code was made into a film. It was published in 2006.

He received another award, which was the Goodreads Choice award in 2013.

Personally, I think The Da Vinci Code is a good book. I think the story is interesting, the author wrote short sentences, which makes it easier to read, and to understand. Although I liked it, I think the story is too common, and that there are many books with the same plot. I would recommend this book to people from 14, and above.

When you will start the book, you will never stop reading it. There weren't many characters, so it made it much easier for me to get attached to them, and identify.
