Elephants can remember Agatha Christie ( Elise)

A weird woman comes to ask Ms. Ariadne Oliver a weird question about her goddaughter: did her mother kill her father or was it the father who killed the mother?”
12 years ago this couple was found both dead with only one gun next to them. A double suicide is the final cause of this case. But is it true? With the help of the famous Hercule Poirot, will Mrs Ariadne find the real guilty person behind this case?
Agatha Christie’s ElephantsCan Remember is a really well known crime novel. Published in 1972, it was even adapted into a film in 2013! I can assure you that this book will please you as well as it pleased me! Let me give you a little summary:
The main characters are: the famous Mr Poirot, his old friend Ariadne and obviously the couple that mysteriously died 12 years ago. Ariadne is a famous crime novel writer. At a literary lunches, this woman called Mrs.Burton-Cox comes to her and asked this weird question about the goddaughter of Ariadne. This goddaughter is gonna marry Mrs. Burton-Cox’s son soon and she kinda has a problem with that😬. Even thought Ariadne was embarrassed by this situation she will end up being curious about this case and will take us with her on her quest.

I pretty much liked this book. Everything is so detailed. The fact that more and more characters are showing up during the whole book makes it more interesting. The plot is just very well handled by the author. The emotions described make the characters more relatable for us: Ariadne is actually a very sensitive person and Hercule Poirot is very generous with his friends.

I recommend this book for the people who like criminal novels with suspense. It is well written and pleasant to read. Agatha Christie is just one of the best authors of all the time (but obviously everyone knows that😌).
